As a Title I school, Melrose families have the right to know about the training and certifications of their child’s teachers. You can feel confident knowing our staff is fully certified, caring, and passionate about supporting student growth.

The Ohio State Tests measure progress on Ohio’s Learning Standards and help guide instruction. Test results are also part of Ohio’s State Report Card. It is very important that students are present on testing days. To help your child succeed, please make sure they get a good night’s sleep, have a healthy breakfast, arrive at school on time, and start the day with plenty of encouragement and positivity.

Wooster City Schools will work with Neighborhood Bridges to help counselors, teachers, social workers and administrators across all seven schools meet essential needs for under-resourced students and their families.

We're excited to announce changes to our enrollment timeline! Preschool enrollment will open on January 15, 2025. For K-12 students, both Intra-district and Inter-district enrollment will open on March 1, 2025. Please note that Intra-district enrollment will close on May 1, 2025, while Inter-district open enrollment will close on August 1, 2025.
